Just been sent this link for a special buy that Aldi are doing this sunday.

£50 for a headunit that has bluetooth, so it should be good for making handfree calls and streaming music from your phone!

Worth a punt for £50 i reckon! I'll be getting one!
Here's the link

Looks fairly decent, with a good amount of features.

I Have just fitted one to my Mummy bus.

For the cash it's great. Everything works as it should and the sound is OK.

I only bought it because

A) My last one the HU fell out of the car and got lost and I wanted a cheap replacement.

B) The wife wanted something with Blue tooth for her phone.

I have a Sony Blue tooth BT103 unit in my Coupe - I think that this Aldi one is actually the same unit but re-branded. The reason i say this is because the layout, style and shape of many of the buttons is the same and the duel beep you get when the blue tooth source goes out of range is identical.

The only thing I would have prefered is a remote microphone like the sony one. The aldi unit has a mic built into the front display and I had to talk quite loudly for the wife to hear me on the phone.

It ticks my boxes though.

Well i've installed it and given it a quick test......... and i notice no difference in sound to my Alpine with CDs and radio. If anything the FM radio reception is a little better, although the MW is a little worse.

It hooked up to my Nokia N8 first time through Bluetooth, and happily made handsfree calls and streamed music from the phone! laugh

It actually looks quite nice when installed, although the flip down mechanism for the CD player/SD card slot is very basic.

Overall though I'm really pleased with it! Having the Bluetooth connection to my phone is the big thing for me!

It comes with a 3 year warranty too (although i've not read the small print!)
