I started a similar thread on this recently, in the end I threw out one the old front amp and rewired the front speakers to come directly from the head unit, the sub amp is still OK and is fed via the RCA outputs. I tried different earths, re-routing the RCA cable, etc., and in the end just cut out the amp that was picking up the interference. The interferences was not there before with the old head unit but I couldn't test with that since that seemed to have stopped workiing completely.

So as a final suggestion, try without the amp, and with another head unit just to see if those make a difference?

My next step will be using group loop isolators on all three rcas and 12dc power noise filer. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem so will keep updated. not willing to run speakers off head unit and do away with amp i like the crisp quality I get from amping my speakers thanks for the advice daveG and james
