Ordered some clear side indicators which came with a set of free orange bulbs, however the bulbs are wedge type I need the standard ones but orange.

Anyone know where to get some, been to halfords no luck.

Cheers

Ebay will sort you out dude

Your after the BA9 233 type (bayonet)standard fit bulb I think you can even find them in led form now.

Or else to ease bulb fitting you could also just buy a 501 wedge type holder and chop the existing fitting off for future ease of bulb fitment again ebay is your friend lol wink

Hi All,

Sorry to bring this post up from the past, but i have just changed to clear indicator lenses, and purchased 2 of the correct bulbs, but my passenger side indicator does not work.

When i swap the bulbs over, the same thing happens. I got fed up looking at it and put the original bulbs back in...both passenger and drivers side indicator works fine.

im not an electrician but...whats the car playing at??

Thanks in advance.

If they are led bulbs they will only work if the polarity is correct. If both bulbs work in one side and neither work in the other swap the spade connecters over on the bulb holder.
