I love the yellow calipers on Red Ferraris, I think the two colours really compliment eachother.

Ive spent a lot of effort trying to get my LE as mint as possible. Im thinking about doing a set of front and rear calipers in yellow and see how they go with the red.

As long as you keep the wheels silver, and use a more subtle yellow for the paint... maybe

no it's a totally idea, don't mess with the top of the range LE's, they should be left unmolested (cosmetically )

Go for it, if its good for Farrari and Porsche, why not the Coupe.

do it , don't conform with the rest of the LE mob , live outside the box its only a set of calipers you can always paint them red again .

I love yellow, so yeah do it.

buy mint did you mean original,if so leave it alone,if i had an LE i would even drive it in 1999 clothes just to look the part,not many good LE,s left now and these will soon be demanding top price.

At the moment the car is pretty much standard - Anything i do will be reversable... ie change the calipers. Im still keeping the original ones.

At the end of the day.. I have restored the car to mint because thats how I like my cars. I have no intention of selling it. Ive spent close to 8k on this car including buying it and thats in two years. Even though the prices of LEs are rising there is no way on earth I will get close to that in the next 5-10 years.

I just want it to be a car that I enjoy, and that I like. Lets face it when the turbo goes I will be going for more power... then its definatly not original.

I have no intention of ever selling this car therefore the Its and LE dont mod it as it loses value doesnt really bother me.

I brought an LE because I like the KIT, the interior and the few goodies that come with it

Na only kidding, whatever colour you want to go for, I have to be honest, I do quite like the yellow calipers on the super cars, you will need to paint your discs matt black though to look like the carbon ones designated by the yellow calipers.

Don't forget LEDS in the wheel well also

Black calipers with red lettering - keeps with the LE (2nd in line to the Plus being top of the range by the way ;-) ) theme.

I see what you are saying with the contrast yellow but it's a Fiat not a Ferrari!

You would need other flashes of yellow for it to work - boost gauge/clock background?

My opinion is that You should defenitly go to the same colour on the calipers as the cars colour.
