I have a white 20vt which is fairly modified.
62 trim turbo, evo fmic, miltek and decat, grooved and drilled discs, eibachs, yellow stuff pads, HE'LL braided lines, new clutch 100k on the clocks, black powdercoated rims etc etc.

I was going to buy a cheap runaround for work and back but
Now I can pick up a steely for a fairly good price which has had a new engine, 73k, new clutch, cambelt, wishbones, droplinks and runs great. Its was a forum members and is standard now, cosmetically its seen better days.

The mrs wants the white one so should I move everything over to the steely and give the white one to her as standard?

I'd use the steely as a project car get it resprayed in battle ship grey put a new piu bumper, le skirts and a zender rear lip put everything over from the white coupe with the exception of a couple things (I'd just buy new) and make this the car I've wanted from the start.

Now what should I do?
keep the white one as it is, take on another coupe or go buy a ford focus?

change the stuff over to the new project that way the misses is happy and youl have the coupe you wanted in the first place.

also if your thinking of buying a focus st then youl just get raped by the first coupe owner you try and play with smile

Don't buy a Ford ever, I'm starting to think they're made in the same factory as Renult or Peugot!

And no, I couldn't be bothered to see if I'd spelt the stupid French names right!

Coupe all the way I think. Mine has actually been the most reliable car I've owned, makes me all the more mad when people smugly say "huh, unreliable Italian shit"

Back into retirement, for now at least . . . Broomy will come out to play next year smile
