Looks tidy enough, from a car dealer on the bay I've bought a car from recently.

Anyone on here buy this?

This was a good buy. I looked at it on tue, offered him £800 for it but wouldn't budge. Still a steal at under £1400

wouldn't a sane person take clean pictures of the car when attempting to sell?

I've bought two cars from these guy's in the past and they've such a fast turnover, (around 50 cars/week) that they just don't have time to test or even clean them up before the ebay listing goes on. Most are even photographed at the auction!

Both my motors were fully valeted before collection (and they'd even put 2 brand new tyres on the X-Type FOC!)

If the Plus is a pig, or you just change your mind, you wont get any hassle from them.

Don't forget tho check the oil before you drive back to Derbyshire

But as Workshy says, these guys are 100% genuine and there's no obligation to buy the vehicle you've won on ebay. They sell at a loss many times (I know, my other half having recently acquired a 52 plate Celica 190 with full toyota service history for half the forecourt price).

Hi, all is well, went down and had a look, the car has been owned by the same guy sinse 2002. who payed £11,500 for it .

I got it for £1500. the garage in question were great. no problems at all. took it for a run, although got stuck in traffic trying to get back to there yard. greef it's a busy place is reading.

the car has a folder full of receipts for works done. it had lots of stuff done. and some serious money spent on it.

there is a little rust where the skirts have rubbed on the body, on the passengers side, which is no worries, I'll get that sorted out.

all in all the car goes really well and did not miss a beat all the way home.

just a litle update on this.

3 weeks in and it kanda been a love hate relationship with the coupe. 1st the radius arm pivot bearings, then the manifold gasket going and then a snapped ARB drop link. it like whats next.

but touch wood, all should be fine now after spending 3 days going through the car to see if anything else is likely to go wrong.
