Not a great deal on a standard car mate, on a modified car it really depends how many mods have been done, until the exhaust becomes the limiting factor... Removing the cat won't make much difference. But for the sound difference on standard AND modified... DO IT!!!

Yeah it does sound great BUT your turbo seals will go on a std turbo and probably quite quickly depending on its milage.
I took the cat off my 1st coupe it was std and on 52k by 56k it was smokey and the bandits.
Although on a proper hybrid turbo it will be fine.

Removing cat on a stock or semi-stock coupè turbo, you have benefits at every rpm: you have less lag, more torque at mediums and at highs. Benefits are not revolutionary but you can feel the difference

I'm running a GT28RS and had the cat put in for the MOT last week.
With the cat in place, I had lost a LOT of power. After the MOT, it was straight back out!

i did a before and after test with the decat..
with a cat i pulled 241.9bhp with out the cat i hit the magic 250.4bhp
it was well worth it, £40 4 bolts and some wd40 for 8bhp!
go for it mate!

One simple test can be more valuable than 10 different opinions.....

Lol, can you actually feel an increase of 8bhp? I wouldn't think it would make a noticeable difference on a stock car.
