The only thing left would be to replace all the rubbers for the rear subframe.

It's coming back from a right rear wheel arch refurbishment tomorrow, and next monday going in for new interior filters, new Silkolene Pro S 10w-50, brand new central locking door units with sensors and motors. Trailing arms will hopefully be done then too.

Haven't forgotten the list, it's a little manic with the work for Spa as Claire wanted a full respray and then I decided to change her engine

She'll be a right looker then and really feisty!

The car will be quite nice, too...

Trailing arms fitted as well as new door locks with central locking motors.

Trailing arms have slightly changed in shape (thicker in places) and luckily the old ones came off without problems.

Door locks were a straight pain. Door cards off, remove the plastic sheet, loosen the window bar at the rear of the door, getting the cables and rods off, twisting out the locks and then the reverse for the new ones. Boy they could have found an easier way surely! Anyway, they're in and we've noticed the locks ar now plastic coated, making the door close with a more muffled 'thump'. 8 hours work together with changing the oil and a small check-up.

On to get the alignment checked again on friday and fit two different rear tyres.

At least you had the door plastic! You'll note from my Howto that there's no mention of it on mine...

It was my first order with Jos, but if I'm wrong by € 20 that's € 40 in total and I don't even remember if that was VAT included or not. Via the dealer they were slightly over € 300 VAT in. With the shipping rates here on the continent it might still be cheaper to buy locally.
