My car is finally back on the road after mucho work under the bonnet, albeit with a chicken chaser spare on atm. blush

I have just got in after spending the last 2 hours waiting for the AA! grr I was just going past my regular boozer when it happened so you can imagine the stick I will get tomorrow night!!!

Fortunately it was just the U bracket for the back box to center pipe that had corroded to dust. Sadly the AA man did not have a spare so the back box is in the boot which I will get sorted on Saturday morning when I get my 4 brand spanking T1Rs fitted! smile - currently running on Infinity ditch finders!

I must say though, reversing her into the garage with the windows down and no back box.... WOW!!!! WARBLE WARBLE!!!! laugh

The back box looks like its not too much longer for this world though, I will bandage it for a bit (just dropped well over a grand on her including tyres, so Coupe fund is somewhat depleted). I really fancy a blue flame, but do you have to get rid of the cat to fit one? Will the back box fit a standard center pipe? Can you just buy a back box then the rest in stages? - keep the costs down for a while.

Any other recommendations for back boxes please? Preferably one that makes the most of the 5 pot sound! cloud9

Booked in for Tuesday! Any sound/video clips available, or recommendations for specing the sound and noise levels please? I spoke with them this morning and they suggested a fittmemt which I will probably go with but I would like to hear any cat back clips.

I have the powerfiat one fitted to mine. Nice warble, but not too loud in the cabin on or off boost.

Doesn't attract too much general attention either and no vibration through the car either.

New, shiney exhaust fitted at Motormech today, sounds great, not too loud, just a subtle grumble! cool
Very pleased with it, especially when driving up a narrow high street near my folks house and reversing into the garage!

However, on the motorway I notice some wheel vibrations at a "smidge" over 70mph, so zipped it back into the place I had my tyres fitted the other day once I got back, only to find I have a leaking CV boot at best! grr

Going into my local garage on Thursday!

The term "Money pit" springs to mind!!! grr
