Took power from the window switch + Fed wires through the dash (all out of the way ) to the control unit. It looks very factory if I may say. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I also finally got my old boost gauge light working after 18 months <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Particularly like the way you have not appeared to have drilled any holes by cleverly using the vents, nice job.

IMHO that boost gauge hose needs to be changed Matt.

That kind of hose expand with pressure and normaly give inacurate readings.

Matt your PM box is full!!

You will find that your boost gauge may be reading slightly different to the blitz. The blitz will be more accurate so use that - the mechanical boost gauge (one in the pod) will react slower and will be slightly behind the blitz.

Hoses are find as the inner diameter is small just a thick tube.

Yep Dave, Motor-mech-matt is here, no job too small <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> No idea how it controls the boost yet pistole, my car is off the road.

Si_Vinci in your opinion, do you think it matters that the vacuum hose is well over four meters long? I have the solenoid close to the red + blue pipes but I would have thought the vacuum hose being so long would somehow affect the speed of the readings <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> It's a deep seated paranoia this one <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I had the same hose installed by Fiat guys and one mechanic that prepares race cars advised me to replace it.

He did it to me and I've found diferences in readings after that <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It's the same hose you get when you buy most boost gauges. I doubt they'd give you the wrong type for the purpose! but thanks for trying to help <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
