yes the coupes are just lumps of metal but all the coupes have there little quirks and the fact there arnt many good ones left makes it worse.

the fact i have only ever found 2 sprint blue VIS's and one of them was mine anyway makes it worse because i can just go and buy a replacement

Glad you both got out okay.

That's the same way my old 205 Gti died - sideways into the trees. Luckily I got out of that fine too with just a few fairly large bruises. The whole car ended up bent like a banana. It's amazing just how strong trees are although to be fair the 205 wasn't the most solid of cars.

By the way, thought I knew quite a bit about coupe's but what does VIS stand for? Just having a blonde moment.

Variable Intake System

Shame to see another good Coupe bite the dust, but also MUCH better news to know that two people stayed alive.

Cars can be rebuilt or replaced

Ever thought of "reincarnating" the Sprinty VIS into another Sprinty shell, then changing over the VIN plates and strut tops?

I know it's not quite the same, but the car would have the majority of the VIS in it and I'm pretty sure it can be done perfectly legally
