It is not physically possible for the GT2871R with .64 housing to make 450bhp I thought.

I would love to see that kinda power... but its too many customs mods to guess in my eyes...

I thought it was a 0.64 but leighton thinks its the 0.86 by how it drives and boosts, i really should have double checked when it was off.

Put him on a 'heart breaker' and I'm sure you'll see a different story.

well as its getting dyno'd on a dastek.... The same one as most other peoples on here, i'll base my guess round that.
Heart breaker is obviously a REAL dyno for REAL men!

Flea use's 1 dyno and every car he maps and set's up runs on that dyno, gives every one a reference poit and so on.

We can discuss the "Dyno saga" till we die... Why don't we just accept the figures as they are!?

I've only ever had it on Dastek rollers... would be interesting to see the difference but Dastek is by far the best RR to use from what i've heard. Most accurate etc.

I'm a realist - I accept that my car will be down on power if I ran it on a different dyno, but the fact that Leighton maps on the same dyno all the time means that the results are broadly comparable

A GT2871 0.64 is good for around 400bhp, maybe a bit more with lots of extra supporting mods (such as high comp pistons, high-lift cams and flowed head, all of which I have)

One day, I'll put it on another dyno so that we can see what difference it makes, but I'm happy enough with what it does on the road, rather than the numbers on a bit of paper

well there was only 20ish bhp diference between dyno's when barbz visited fleas and heartbreaker..... Think it was same boost both times aswell, 1.3 bar!

TBH, you can get a 20bhp difference on the SAME dyno if its a few days apart, especially when you're up in the 400s to start with (it's only 5% at these levels - easy to lose with a drop in tyre pressure, an increase in ambient temp, a drop in octane on the fuel if its been in the tank for a couple of weeks - that sort of thing)

Agree with Nigel, its all about what it does on the black stuff. When I did the Auto Italia feature with 2 other cars which also had "around 400bhp" mine went 170 down the runway, where the next fastest got to 155 (a big difference). Mine was 429bhp on Fleas rollers.

^^ Exactly - I've embarrassed cars with significantly higher bhp figures or greater sporting credentials and that's the appeal for me (and the look on the face of the Conti/DBS/M6/SL65AMG/F360 owner as I do it )
