it never seems to amaze me just how bad some car electrics have been tampered with.
I pulled the stereo out from "lets say one of the portos I have" and was in complete shock oof what I found, enough Halfords complete connection terminals to qualify as a bulk buy and all sorts of wires cut into the loom AND the loom.... well ruined.

not the first time this has happened to me now frown

all cars from about 1990 have the standard ISO connector block (plug and play with the right adapter), I really struggle to see how the electrics end up in such a mess when its supposed to be so easy.

being colourblind doesn't help me, so off to hire a mobile car sparky to sort it out before the thing goes up in flames. rolleyes banghead

had this as well grr
I believe that for some reason the "savvy" (not tight fisted swines) car owners of this world would rather spend an hour or so cocking up a cars wiring with connectors than spend a positively HUGE amount of money on an ISO connector (all 5-10 quid of it) really really riles me evil

The Coupe wouldn't even NEED an ISO connector adapter on most radios... IF the lead were long enough as it's got an ISO connector already.
