I'm thinking selling my Coupe again. I hardly use it (it's done less than 3k in the last 2 years) and I'm after a new bike and van. Full Spec is HERE 122k full service history by Fiat/PowerItalia/Motormech Less than 3k since rebuild Forum owned car for the last 10+ years I'd say it's one of the cleaner 20vt's around but it is 14 years old Just had a new manifold and external wastegate so power *may* change after Leighton has mapped it again. I know highly modified cars tend not to sell and get stripped/broken as they are worth more in parts, I wont be going down that route. Hit me with prices

With that spec, and despite overtaking it with my lesserly powered coop at Spa , it's got to be worth £5k for someone looking for 400brake plus forged coop. Would and I no doubt it has cost much more to get to where it is now. As always, with a unique car, it will have a limited base of buyers it will appeal to at that price. Good luck Taffy

Taffy - seriously, I would keep it for a good while longer, it'll break your heart if you have to sell it for 4K...it's such a shame that modded coupes do not seem to be worth much.

Keep it as it is then £4k is just wrong. Not too many coops of this spec and power come available. I'd try it at £6k mate. But as I alluded to earlier, it'll appeal to a select market only (one which I'd include myself in!). Mmmmm forged power...

having witnessed Paul building this at motormech and seen the quality of components going into it (as well as knowing what a perfectionist Adam is) £4k for this car is an absolute travesty even if realistic even at £5 - £6k it's a steal for someone who wants instant monster power and a great platform for a top-end perfomance car. minus the orange wheels of course at Spa Adam had a couple of niggling issues that stopped him really gunning it, but it was still fast enough to make his girlfriend Liz cry with fright!! hilarious

dont be silly Adam you will miss it like mad its not bike weather and vans cost F-all unless you want brand new.
but a coupe of your spec is worth keeping just book yourself into 2-3 track days and just enjoy it as much as you can.

Agree with what Proccy says, 4k would be silly, im sure if it was up for 4k it would be gone in an instant, which proves it would be too cheap, they would be laughing all day long! I think 5k would still be on the cheap side for a car of that spec/work...
Now in the 400+ bhp club!

Adam, 1 question... Why did you build this if you where only going to sell it a few months later??

Adam, 1 question... Why did you build this if you where only going to sell it a few months later?? I planned to build it along time ago Marco and it took a lot longer than I expected it too. It was at Motormech for 6 months and I just totally lost interest in it, got it back, got it mapped then had a load of problems at Spa and it hasn't moved since. I'm not going to lie, I don't like the way it drives on the road, it's great on track but crap in traffic, the throttle is far to light and it has an 'issue' at 2k rpm. After spending a small fortune (I haven't worked it out but well over 8k) it still isn't right for me. I could carry on spending more money but then you realise it's a 4k car and not really worth it. I can see why people break modified cars now, there is no way I would sell it for 4k. Anyway it's probably just a phase, I'll like it again next week

Taffy, weirdly I understand where your coming from...
How about a track day?
See if you blitzing past a few other cars will restore your faith!
Now go drive the dam car.

Not pointless for me. I asked for a price as a whole and it just wasn't enough Nigel thanks for the offer, I know it took along time to get your car the way you wanted it. I've just run out of interest.
