Spent a load at JBT's a few weeks ago. Clutch, Tiing Belt, Bodywork repair to my scraped wing, wheel refurb, brake pipes, some suspension fixes. Was really excited to pick the car up. Johnny had done a fantastic job and it was driving great.

A week later we were due to go for a weekend break in Yorkshire but a fuel injector decided to pack in so we had to go in my wife's car.

Spent a week trying to do the injector myself before giving up and having it done at a garage.

Got the car back a week last Friday but were due to go away again for the week so we went in my wife's car again. No big deal

Got back Friday and decided to give the coop a nice wash and wax yesterday all ready for action again.

Got up this morning and she was looking luvverly

It's no consolation but I have come to the conclusion that it was a randomly thrown stone. Some kid throwing at someone in the entry next to our house seems most likely It was too close to that wall for it to be thrown directly at the window and the stone was on my passenger seat too. They hadn't knocked the glass out or taken anything either. Little feckers

So now I need a window

I hope that's the end of my problems for a while. Can't wait to start enjoying the coop again

I know what it's like with the kids throwing stones and keep expecting to come out and find my windscreen smashed

Heart in mouth time mate ...... apart from picking out glass from Mrs c2d's bum for the next 12 months at least nothing's gone, no paintwork damaged etc, fingers crossed.

Chris, when my window got similar treatment (and it was snowing at the time so a bit more of a bugger) I just rang the windscreen dudes and they fixed and fitted it for about £70.
