Ok, the date of Saturday 10th December 2011 has been set.

Plenty of time for people to get their names down, book hotels and take time off work if needed.

Most of us usually stay in the Ibis Hotel, Carlisle
Another hotel which is only a few yards down and also ideal is County Hotel, Carlisle

Both hotels are currently £42/£40 a night for 1 person.

Although, if you looked on the Ibis website, you'll see about their A Class/Loyalty card. I joined this last year after staying in their hotel twice.
I remembered about the card, found it, entered the card number and have just managed to book the room for £29.40

Thought it was worth mentioning, in case anyone has a loyalty card or may want to sign up for one

Yes, you do for the Ibis hotel, although not sure on the County Hotel.

Mattb stayed at the County last year, so maybe ask him or maybe Matt will reply here and let us know
