A little video I put together of my car that shows off the good things of our beloved Coupes.

Enjoy.

That's not how I would portray the Fiat coupé nor how I like it to be portrayed. However there are some nice pictures and I would be interested to know how to make a video on youtube.

Yes I am getting old. yes

As well as the obvious dangers involved in spanking your engine like that you might find it's worth chucking some injector cleaner in your petrol as you might have sucked some crap through revving the engine like that with the fuel light on. wink

Very nice video indeed mate, and modern cars all have fine filters before the fuel pump so you won't suck any crap up regardless of the fuel level.

Difficult to say what caused that unless the bag on the pump had split or not been reattached properly after a fuel pump change, as the filter bags are there to safeguard against that exact problem.

That's a lovely sprinty by the way Didcoop.

Thanks guys. My car's fuel light lives on most of the time, I put £20 in and within 20 odd miles the light's back on lol.

I don't drive this all the time either for all those concerned. It was just to demonstrate the noise and power really.

ALSO the car was properly up to temp before I shot any of the videos.

Nice car and vidio but...

Inspired by ferrari ? = Dubious

Designed by Pininfarina = WRONG WRONG WRONG nono

In the words of George Michael "If you're going to do it, do it right".

Body styling by Chris Bangle inhouse at fiat.
Interior styling by Pininfarina.
Assembled by Pininfarina.

I loved between 02:25 and 03:07

The close up on the side badge is awesome.

Not a fan on the sound track though.

You were so right mate, still the car does look and sound awesome so I don't mind.

Ok I got a few statements wrong, they're not factual they just sound good and no Tom, Dick or Harry would know lol.

Appreciate the "kinder" comments lol

Tim - I've just run your list through the Alistar Campbell school of spin doctoring: laugh

The Fiat Coupé was the creation of several design minds, chiefly Chris Bangle, Italian styling house Pininfarina, and Fiat’s Centro Stile under Nevio de Giusto. Fiat produced one of their company’s seminal products of the 1990s – its ground breaking Coupé. A true one-off product which burst on the scene at the Brussels Motor Show in 1993, the Coupé was a glorious return to form for Fiat, which was once the master of this niche of the market, but had been effectively absent for well over a decade. Emerging as it did at a time of conservative styling in the industry – typified by models like Fiat’s own utterly forgettable Tempra family car – Bangle’s Coupé was surprising – shocking, even – but ended up being almost universally acclaimed. Never conventionally pretty, some of the design details made it a true ‘love-it or hate-it’ car. The Fiat’s dramatic wheelarch slashes were a Bangle trademark and would feature firmly in his future career. Specific design details of the Coupé were carefully crafted to surprise and delight by Centro Stile, and consciously evoked Italy’s sporting heritage. Instead of being hidden behind an anonymous flap, the huge fuel filler cap was made of alloy and stood prominently on a rear wing. The circular rear lights rear lights evocative of Ferrari. Years of the industry gradually banishing the once-common practice of exposed cabin metal was turned on its head, with the Coupé featuring a prominent strip of painted metal right across the dashboard, crowned with the Pininfarina logo. The front snout of the car when viewed from a low angle, also bears relation to a previous Fiat sports, the Dino. The curvaceous polycarbonate headlamps were a deft touch. When Fiat’s design chief Nevio de Giusto was asked how they would be washed he replied 'con amore'. Although the resulting car would often bewilder press and public - sometimes reflecting the terms awe and awful in the same breath - these design touches made the car something special and certainly one that couldn’t be ignored.

The Fiat Coupé was one of the last coach-built production cars, handbuilt by Pininfarina at their factory outside Turin.

Is there any onboard memory on that first camera or is an SD card absolutely necessary?

Did you experience any import taxes or charges? It says in the description that there may be some.

Found a UK stockist at virtually the same price so no risk of import charges or a three week wait.
