Ive recently purchased one of these

Im having major issues settings the blasted thing up... please bear with me:

1. Its all been plumbed in correctly
2. I reset the device to factory
3. I set the device to then use Learn Mode to find the actuating base boost.

I did the first run, third gear... went on boost and the EVC Beeped. I then did the second run (H) third gear right to the red line, came of the accelerator and the device beeped. It then returned the actuating boost level as 0.57 im assuming this is bar and if so its correct as I beleive the standard turbo has a 0.6 bar actuator.

4. I then set the Low Setting to 0.8 (im wanting 0.8 bar)
5. I then set the High Setting to 1.1 (again assuming this is bar)
6. Because the device used the learn mode I left the offset as 100 as it was automatically calibrated
7. Scramble boost setting and Scramble time were left at 0 (didnt want to set this yet)
8. Warning boost setting - I set this to 1.25 bar

Happy with all these settings I went for a drive

Set the device to low, put my foot down in third and the boost shot up to 1.25 the alarm went off and all boost was cut back to 0.5 until i took my foot off the accelerator

Tried again with the high setting... It did the same thing

I thought maybe its the warning ive set... I removed the warning. Went out put my foot down and just knew the boost was going to tail right off the scale so i took my foot off the pedal.

Ive tried setting low to 0.5 and it still made no difference
Ive tried changing the offset... no difference

Im sure the device is plumbed in correctly as it calculated the actuating boost properly?

Any ideas would be GREATLY appriciated

I don't know your boost controller, but I've been having fun learning how to setup my Apexi AVCR.

Since I installed it, my car became very laggy and I blamed it on the AVCR, so put my old prv back in and it made no difference! So looks like I have a boost leak somewhere.

A little off topic I know, but what I'm trying to say is, play with it loads and you will learn it really well in no time.
