Sorry you're right jimmylo, it's a vt6 with factory upgraded recaros. Very nice but I wouldn't buy it.

He did say he had 4 request to break it within 15 minutes of the auction starting.

320bhp from a remap and breathing mods, no mention of a larger turbo...

Is 320 bhp with a re-map, exhaust and air-box mods realistic?
Sounds generous to me, but mine is still a standard LE.

If I can get 320bhp (240kW) without replacing or modifying any major mechanical parts, then count me in.

I would love to hear a balanced and objective comment on this, but if that is not possible.... then just make me laugh

Having said that £1500 for a very late model coupé? Methinks someone could snap up a bargain there although I'd be inspecting the shell very closely for rust as we're noticing that the later ones seem to be worse for corrosion, possibly due to poorer grade steel?

If you can find someone that can remap you with those mods to 320bhp then Barbz and Flea will have to hang up their respective hats

Why do people feel its ok to lie when advertising on ebay?
Its NOT an LE, with those mods its NOT 320bhp (unless he's discovered an unknown coop genius) and I'm sorry but its NOT just a couple of "small jobs" for the MOT, if it was he would have done them, they are "small" after all.

To get anywhere near even 300bhp you are going to need either a FMIC or a aquamist system on your sidemount. The charge temps simply wont let you go higher with the standard sidemount.

As a good example, my coop has recently been worked on by flea. It's had a new hybrid turbo, a de-cat, fuel pump and all those bits, and of course a re-map.

End result: 289 Bhp. Pegged there becuase of the charge temps. If only i had known that a Cone filter was the solution

Must have been sold early.

I was getting regular messgaes from the seller but no responce from my message yesterday. I presume it sold yesterday at some point and will probably be broken for parts.

Although when I last looked it was on 1300 or so, so good money for a coupe with no tax and test.

If it was sold early it should be in completed items. I think the advert must have been removed by Ebay for some reason

Just spoke to the owner and he said its 280 bhp not 320 as advertised

Can it be legally advertised as having 5 seats, or does the plus have a centre belt in the rear?
