http://freeforumzone.leonardo.it/lofi/Il-coupe-di-risi/D1378417.htmlContains references to the Coupe I talked about elsewhere. Risi tuning (Capri) or CHD Tuning seemingly developed a Coupe in 2004-2005 that was running NOS and got it to over 700 bhp, with a quarter mile of just over 10 second recorded and an exit speed nearing 150 mph. I'm trying to find some more, will paste below.

Look at the size of the turbo on that one! Any ideas on spec of the 1000 horse one?

940 bhp 16vt Coupe at 'low boost' - namely 2.4 bar. 700 BHP @ 3.2 bar - tough to do but possible. 940 BHP @ 2.4 bar - a pipe dream.

Quite simply wow!
one thing, that has surprised me (other than the specs!) is how much better designed the 16v handbrake console looks...its looks much more 'thought through' than the 20v versions I think....

Nothing to do with what the turbo will flow. 940 BHP at 8300 rpm, 2.4 bar would require the engine to make 595 lb/ft at 8300 rpm. So the engine would need to produce 320BHP/203 lb/ft normally aspirated.

Well, that would make a difference!
How much power is coming from the nitrous oxide system, and how much power without the NOS. Do you know GS?
Fantastic to have a turbo that will flow 95lbs a minute - the tricky bit is getting the engine to ingest 95lbs of air per minute........ I don't see that happening at 2.5 bar - you would need a VE of 150% at 8300 rpm (multiplied by a density ratio of 2.92 from 2.4 bar boost).

the b and L has a bacci transmission, perhaps higher spec then the std listed one. I like the suspension set up and mechanical pump off the cam shaft.

Looks to be a fuel pump.
What's the cylinder head picture? Not the same as the one bolted to the engine.

Additional question to the block itself. Unfortunately I do not know the 16V turbo block (I have a 20VT). Does someone know, if this is the original block? Or is it maybe an other modified block (for example diesel or similar)?! Thanks Juergen

Is the cylinder head one a raw casting?

It's a standard block casting at least what can be seen.

Looks to be a raw head casting, certainly not a standard one. The assembled engine has a standard head casting. More info needed

Thanks... There was no diesel version of the Lampredi as, in those days, Fiat was aware of the fact that diesel is the devil's fuel. No power gains - no diesel. However that block is very strong.

There is also a Greek chap, Greg Demetriades has a 1030 wheel hp 16v engine, so over 1200-1300bhp+ at the fly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fheILNz4fUThat video is old now, he has more power, but he had it taken down to a 1.8 to allow it to rev to around 10,000rpm
