I am pleased to say that we can now take bookings for any additional activities beyond the special FCCUK sessions you already know about.

As yet we do not have the exact times of the Scuderia sessions other than there will be one morning and one
afternoon session each day.

Please complete the booking form and return it to me at spaitalia@fccuk.org as soon as possible.

May I remind those of you who put your name on the list that your deposits are required before the end of this month to guarantee your place.

From the 1st of December it will be first come, first served, with preference given to coupe entries.

Pete,

Can you clarify what is permitted/expected/required for each session please?

Those of us who have not been before are a bit baffled...

Ta,

Neil

Just 4 things, a roadworthy Italian car, a crash helmet, gloves and the sticker allowing entry to the particular track session.

The latter will be handed to you on the Saturday morning in exchange for a signed waiver of liability for damage to the circuit.

UK participants will be covered by an insurance policy which the club is taking out for that liability. There will be a £250 excess in the case of a possible claim.

Other than that, normal sensible things such as wearing your seat belt and not driving if you are pissed.

Thanks. Any recommendations as to where to obtain suitable hats and gloves? Or a required spec?

I got my crash hat from a Hein Gericke motorbike shop, so long as it has kitemarks, ACU or tuv approval stickers it will be fine.

The gloves are an insurance company requirement, and I don't really understand why that is.

I just wear a thin pair of leather gloves bought originally for winter visits to the Baltic states. The track entry scrutineers just check that you are wearing a crash hat and that you are strapped in.

Excellent, thanks, Pete!

Are the coupe only sessions free speed or under pace car? (Either way, it make sense for me to be at the back, since I'm almost certain to be the only 16NA and therefore lowest speed there).

Following up further on Neil's request, I got round to translating the circuit rules a little earlier than I had planned to do.

They can be found on this thread.

Pete, do you know how long the tourist rally takes?

I'd be interested in taking part this year, but would hope to be back for the second Coupe track time session.

I did the rally last year, and it was about 90 miles taking 2-3 hours or something like that. We were back in time for the second Coupe session no problem. Dad's doing the rally this year in the Spider.

Matt, as James said.

Hopefully it will be possible to get you an early start time by booking in advance. I know James did last year.
