Glad you are ok Mario. Get them new bolts in mate. Allways good practice to keep an eye on the boltsat track days. Reuben and Dan had issues at Spa this year but thankfully kept pulling them up tight. Looks like you all had a great day and i'm pleased the weather was good as it makes it so much more fun and social.

I won't have any vids up until Wednesday eve because of the ridiculously long upload time, as it looks like I'll have to let it run overnight. Was it that slow for you Marco?!? So until then, we'll have to chuckle at enjoy Marcos offerings

Was it that slow for you Marco?!? A little bit, could of done with some straight line power and a bit more power low down... But I was running her around 1bar to be on The safe side I do think a track car is the way forward after seeing Marios car...

The comedy moment of the day occurred coming down the straight heading towards the chicane ... Dave driving 110mph+ ... the gearknob came off ... which he busily tried to demonstrate to me by waving it around in front of my face ... as I was busily trying to indicate that he might want to concentrate on the impending chicane I forgot about that bit Cheers for the compliments Dave, will spend a bit more time coaching next time and you can take my car out for a spin drive Worth you buying an autocom intercom at some stage, to make talking possible when in the car.

Mario, track car = Initial costs to buy £500-£800 Preparation £500 Safety bits £500 tax and test or trailer hire Etc etc etc
I will always track my coupe, despite being on its second frontal paintjob due to chips. No point just staring at something,it must be used or wheres the fun. you were just unlucky pal that someones lack of concentration bent the car.

I guess your right... however it wasnt down to the bolts not being tight... 4 of the bolts were wrong No idea where they came from as ive never changed the bolts on the coupe so its just fluke that they all ended up on that side of the car. It would still be nice to have a track car though... but i see your point

On the scooby and focus ST forum theres talk of a coupe with pink wheels flying around Donny.
Pink wheels distinguish it,as my mate heard about it all the way from Mallory park. Not bad for some Italian motors that are 12 years old.
Turns out a that Red ST was the focus owners club owner from what i have been told. Running well over 400 horses. As for the scoobies the blue one was also well over 400.

Just a little video of the line up going out onto the track. Clicky many thanks Hovedan, Ecrab and Dave_T for the passenger rides. realistically, I will probably never buy another coupe (having owned three) even though I have had a great time driving them over the last 5 years. I am however planning on buying a track based caterham though on a trailer Catch you all around some time. Mr T.
