Just wondering when does 1 bar of boost come in on a standard 20vt coupe? At what revs?

I reckon it's a bit earlier than that - more like 2,000 - 2,500

Remember that peak torque on a 20VT is reputed to arrive at 2,500rpm

In 4th gear it is 2500rpm +/-50rpm

dont you mean +/- 50.5rpm?

Mine doesnt seem to come in till around 2500 could this be down to manual bleed valve ?
