I'm serious boys - the best way to open your frozen doors is to blow into the lock barrel a few times. Jobs a good'un.

boom-tisch!

I've got the winter boots on the bravo now (on 20vt wheels; the tyres are 3% small but I'm not throwing them away until they're dead) so it's allowed to snow.

Winter has been here since the start of October, we have had over 1 metre of snow falling and it's been sub zero every night since then. You have it easy! Good job there are no coupe's here!

Seems there are still some Coop owners struggling to open their doors. To repeat myself again, I use graphite oil spray in the locks with very good results. - 4 degrees this morning & my Coops doors opened no problem. I was caught out & I'm trying to get the ice & snow completely off the car before I can get the cover on. snowman

If anyone is interested....Force penetrating & graphite spray, purchased off eBay a couple of years ago.

I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

I have to second the graphite spray treatment and especially silicone on the door rubbers, particularly after last winter.

A couple of days I managed to de-ice the door enough to get in a drive the car, but by the time I got to the car park, it had frozen up again. In fact I had to leave it un-locked (actually just pushed to as it was frozen again in the un-locked position!) all day.

No trouble at all since the silicone and graphite treatments.
