Seems a bit like the evening could end up being a very sober affair. Dinner at 9pm? It'll be 11pm before we get out on the town!

Right then, FlavourZ is booked for 16 people at 7:30pm. We will need to be done by 9:00-9:15. No doubt I'll have to change the booking later on as people drop out.

It depends where you live Joe. Those in the poorer North side of town (Leighton, James, Dan) may have experienced a good few inches of snowfall. Those in the wealthier sub tropical south (Dave and Myself) didnt even get a single flake. (This description holds true untill i move into my new place in Horfield, at which point the north end of town automatically becomes the affluent, "must-live", celebrity side of town )

Not yet. So far i've been told July-ish by one person and November by another! Apparently they wont be able to give a firmer date until the roof goes on and the building is water tight. Once i have a firm date though, you can be sure there will be a 'pre night out' party at mine where shoes will be taken off at the door and a limited amount of merriment will be allowed. However those who make any spillages will be dealt with severely. (and Reuben will not be allowed to sleep there until he has signed a waiver baring him from buying anything at Jason Donervan)

We got about an inch in the north-west of Bristol. It won't last very long.

You could have more egg on your face than the old BBC weatherman Michael Fish on the eve of the 1987 Hurricane; Michael Fish hurrican blooper

I know! Who would have thought the one fixed reliable constant in all that time would be a 15 year old Italian Sports Car.
