I think to be honest, different colours do different things to a Coupe.

A yellow, red, sprinty or silver one really shows off the lines - especially the slashes on the rear arches, and the vented front bumper, whereas the darker colours like scots green, black, burgundy etc are more subtle, and more sleek.

Then there is Portofino... love

I must admit a yellow coupe does draw more attention though, it really is an event driving one through town!

(when the f***ing thing works)

grr

I think you are on to something to Alesi.

Different colours get different responses, be it sporty or classy!

I love my steel one as it looks timeless (but tbh the downside in that is that it also "blends" into the crowd rather too well). But I still ache for a broom. Even daydreaming walking home tonight thinking about getting a 2nd one. There's no way I'd give up the steel, but soooo badly want a yellow one. No suprise that the main advertising campaign featured that colour.

Theory? far too many silver cars - A lot of people like that tone of colour, Modern colour, therefore make the coop look more up to date/newer, easier to keep looking clean due to hue/tone. My Vinci never looks "dull" it's always polished wink
I also like moon silver coops, sprint/metalic blue ones and broom yellow, a shiny coop is a good coop in my eyes. Murple ones though! chinny

I still think broom yellow is the best colour, bit of a traffic stopper in this colour. Amazing how many people used to wave at me and smile, let me out of junctions in it etc, a special car in a special colour..love to track down this cars owner, i wonder how much yen it would be lol??? smile

I'm in that minority wink Until I went to view mine I had never seem one in the flesh either. Love it.

Personally, do not dislike any of the original factory colours - and the couple of resprayed ice white ones I have seen have been love

I like the loud colours, the first one I ever sat in, was a sprinty in the dealership when I was ordering my broomy Cinq at uni. I promised myself one at that point, in that colour.

The broomy's look well too IMHO, along with red and electric blue. In its day the Coupe looked like nothing else out there for the price, and deserved the loud colours. Black looks well, but I think thats a colour that suits most cars.

Nearly forgot white too! cool

Nice pics JKD thumb
Just still not my fave colour wink I prefer car colours to be a colour, not some where imbetween. IMHO you should be able to know what colour a car is from about 20+ yards away, not still guesssing once it's passed you by. In the opposite direction of course wink

That does look great JKD but I think the wheels go a long way toward catching the eye, in a subliminal way, which makes it glitter.

Oooh...
