My cars going pronto - I am utterly desperate for a van, Now I know they are cheap at the moment, very cheap, But am I crazy after accepting £1000 for it? The guy actually let me down and pulled out of buying it before viewing, The specs now good and runs very smoothly,

Would anyone else sell a coupe of this spec for this, Or am I alone in thinking even a tuned one is worthless, unless low miles and forged etc, or just forged lol

Spend £50-£60 and get it rolling roaded.

Once you have a graph and a figure, will be worth more. Because is someone wants a tuned one, they'll want to know what its putting out and the proof.

Well a coupe that has had a 5K forged engine in is always going to be worth more than one on standard internals that has just been tuned to the limit where it will most likely break. Also if you say desperate to sell then people will take the piss and offer you peanuts. Honestly for a grand you may as well give it to someone to break for parts as you would get more money back.
I know that just before Christmas a standard moon grey plus that won concourse at standford hall last year just sold for 7k. So there are some serious people out there.

Provided your car is not a shed or a rust-bucket it has to be worth more than a grand! The bits listed must be worth double that on their own......

If you've got the time, return it to standard, take off the bolt on parts. The turbo alone is worth around £400.

do not sell a car with that spec for a grand, seriously you would be giving it away at that, the parts alone are worth way more than that, as gunzi says take the parts off, return it as near to standard and then sell it for a grand or as close to, you will get double your money

Ah man, that was my 20VT which I sold to Chrissy back in September - been missing it massively and would have happily bought her back cry

On the plus side, the new owner PM'd me to say hello and is keeping her in a dry, warm underground car park - exactly what she deserves!
