My Coupe is sat at my parents 80 miles away and barely being driven. I could do with the money yet a lot of it will go on paying insurance off. Plus I may need a car for when i'm back over. (though insurance is expensive on it)

As most of you know, I have an X Reg yellow VIS in good condition for the age just a few shopping trolly dents and a slightly faded front bumper (Back is fine). It's fully specced and only done about 79,500 miles. Good service history, all i need doing is one front wishbone and aux belts in a couple on months which are due.

I dont want to sell it for nothing!! I do want a fair amount for it otherwise i'll keep it until someone does want it or I run it into the ground.


Any ideas on genuine prices and demand?

It's a VIS. And yellow. So, don't take a penny less than £5k

£1500 - Thats due to it being a late example, FSH etc seems to mean nothing at present..

Agree, £1500 is realistic, but ridiculously good value for the buyer, for a late example with low miles, although mine is insured for £3k due to the amount of lavishing it's had of late. I'd not sell mine for less than £2k, and that's with 154k on the clocks now.

As a fellow yellow VIS owner, I'd keep it Ask yourself, would you get anything like the looks, attention and respect it gets from passers by with any other car in that price band?
