For many it's the last weekend before Payday (I myself dont get paid until the last day of the month so i have ANOTHER weekend to endure!)
What are people doing with their Friday night and their weekend, which is statistically the quietest weekend for the pub/leisure industry?
Tonight
I am listening to some music at the moment, sorting washing loads for tomorrow, and then generally giving the place a bit of a tidy up.
Then i will be watching some P90X2 videos to see what is in store for me when i eventually start that program in the summer.
Then maybe a film or a book for the rest of the evening.
Saturday/Sunday
Havent the foggiest. Other than the usual weekly food shop and chores, I have absolutely no plans due to being completely skint. If the weather is OK i'll wash the car, and perhaps go for a walk around town looking at things i cant afford to buy.

I just managed to cobble together enough cash to tax my Moon today, so I'm taking her out for a spin tonight, pop into the Lower Bell on the A229 and see what tribute band they have on tonight. They had The Relics on last week who are a brilliant Pink Floyd trib (shows my age I'm afraid). Tomorrow I will listen to Danny Baker and Fighting Talk on 5Live whilst doing a bit of underbonnet tarting, then off to play hockey in the afternoon at Ashford. A meal in the Pepper Box in Ulcombe on the way home. Sunday; do two hours GCSE Chemistry revision with my youngest son in the morning, then it is telly all the way. Man City v Spurs, Arsenal v Man Utd, tea, then Ravens v Patriots, then Giants v 49ers . Should finish sometime on Monday morning, so then off to bed ready for a few hours trying to remove ground elder from a customer's garden, provided I can stay awake.... If North London prevails this weekend over the 'orrible Mancs I will probably get very drunk (Spurs fan . Have a good one, Tim

Just finished my fantastic Indian meal, now to settle down with a couple of drinks. tomorrow night going to watch a mate do a gig in a great country pub, getting wasted with him and the footy lads, and sleeping over/spewing at a mates house Sunday recover from Saturday, watch the lads play footy then go to the gym - or sleep. Yes, probably sleep

I have been laying concrete all morning, then a big lunch with some French pals. Home for a shower and snooze till 5 oclock. Since then i am going back to work to polish the concrete every two hours or so till about 2 in the morning. Meeting pal's tommorow to discuss creating a small social club ,as 2 of our local bars have closed down. Dinner at mine with friends Saturday night. Sunday morning working on the cars and sorting the van ready for work Monday morning. Rest Sunday afternoon then dinner as usual with pals in the evening at Madam Gilbert's bar.

i too am having a dull night in Bristol.. Currently looking out of the window across Bristol wondering what joyous times are happening down there... coop is at Joes getting fixed, have to ring him and maybe Turbo Dynamics in the morning as after getting a new engine fitted, the turbo is also goosed. Then might try and sell a kidney to finance it! A day of footy awaits tomorrow including a 9 mile cycle ride there and back across Bristol to play!

Tonight, right now nursing my leg as I stabbed a blade an inch into my lower leg at work. Always cut away from yourself! Watching tv and drinking red medicine. Tomorrow going to give the local Fiat parts desk a visit for bolts for the shocks etc I will finally get round to fit on Monday onwards got a couple days out so fit the coilovers and Nigel's lower brace. Rest of the day don't know, waiting outside shops for brownie points. Sunday, maybe long drive out for day. Show the inlaw another sight before the return home.

Child #2 packed off to bed at 7pm. Skyrimmed until the missus got in from work at 8:30, had a bite to eat and then watched Hustle and QI. Skyrim's gone in favour of Rayman Origins, so I'm on here and answering random problems on the Excel forum. Oh, and I've managed to neck a bottle of Bordeaux in amongst that lot.
Dear monos, a secret truth.

I just got back from taking the Moon 20VT6 out for a good drive down the M20, a few sharp stops with no traffic around to sort the brakes out, and then to the Lower Bell for some random music. Brilliant . A tribute band called Hardtail were playing, and the first three numbers were Suffragette City, Communication Breakdown and This Flight Tonight. I stayed for the start of their second set; the guitarist was superb and the singer was good as well. They then played Wishing Well, Rock 'n' Roll and Faith Healer. The weekend has started well. Eggs on toast, a grand cup of tea and bed will continue the trend, Tim

Now sipping my coffee listening to Cream on Planet Rock presented by Alice Cooper. Life could not get better...... well maybe some female involvement might improve matters...
