Is it just a case of prying off the cover? I'm looking to fit a blanking plate over the drivers vent so I can have a boost gauge there and I wanted a quick look to see what's going on behind there.

Put your hand under the dash and feel toward the bottom of the end panel. You will find a screw which you need to undo and then twist the plastic clip to loosen the panel.

There is a fixed clip on the side and top of the panel holing it in place. When you can get a hold of the panel, gently slide it out downwards. Try wiggling it free so you don't break the clips (which I've done on more than one occasion) frown

Thank you. Glad I didn't try to pry it off!

I took this panel off once and ever since putting it back it has caused an annoying squeak whilst driving. I've tried moving it around and loosening and tightening the screw but it hasn't helped. Does anyone have any tips to stop it squeaking?

Rub some winter lipstick on the inside where it touches.
