I saw this on the website and thought if anyone would be interested in organising a meet, that this is a perfect spot. Stunning views on the leas and France in the background. As Folkestone is a very up and coming town at the moment, with the high speed rail link to London operational for the last 3 years, this event has been getting busier and busier. I went last year but sadly I didn't see any coops there. I think it would be a good show for a social meet.
The Folkestone Air Show is also a great day out. The spectators are on the Leas and the aircraft fly out to sea at eye level - saves getting a crick in the neck!
Unfortunately I've sold my coop a little while ago as I've gone back to college so I haven't really got the time to organise a meet in Folkestone. Just thought someone in this area would like to do it as I don't see many Kent meets happening. Yeh, the air show is awesome. It's back this year for the jubilee
