It all depends on the wheel. Some 17s will bolt straight up and some 18s will need 10 mm plus.

Have you got a wheel in mind? It may be easier to see if anyone has used that combo.

I know the wheels wont bolt straight on as such. they are ET45 PCD 4x100 so if they clear the brembo wobbly bolts will work. But thinking of 4x98 to 4x100 adaptors 15mm-20mm if you can get them.

ok guess my question is then do ET45 wheels fit or need spacers?

Yes i understand about clearing brembos like ive said already. i know even wheels that have correct ET dont always fit too.

Im just after info if any one has fitted wheels with spacers and what was the ET and spacer size , like my first question.

I have ET45 with 15mm spacers. They push the wheels right out. I actually want to reduce the size of the spacers so I can run 225 tyres without rubbing

Ok thanks Scuderia , so ET45 will fit depending on Brembo clearance. As you have a 16v i guess you dont have this problem.

I have some 18x8.5J Azev C ET35 will give outer position of wheel by +24mm extra over standard wheels, and inner clearance by -14mm less.

If the wheels im looking at fit they will give outer position by +8mm and inner clearance by -18mm less. With 20mm spacers that makes inner +2mm more and outer +28mm extra, over standard wheels.
