Okay, so after the big end went on the coupe I have sucsessfully fitted the spare engine and now the old engine is now the spare...

What shoudl I do with it?

The engine has all the ancilliarys still on it like ps pump, alternator, starter motor ect...

should I:
A. sell the whole thing as it it with a big end gone?
B. sell it with the big end gone but the ancilliaries seperatly
C. Sell all the ancilliaries and sensors on the engine and the head and scrap the block
D. Try and fix the engine and sell it as a whole
E. some other combination?

If I sell anything it'll be put up on ebay, so dont say "you should like totally strip it down dude, that'd be way cool"

Then go and PM me asking "like dude, can I have your like alternator" cause the answer would be no =3 Unless you have my mobile number, then in which cause you're probably a friend and I'd more than likely say yes and even give you a discount.

But anyway, this engine's taking up space, I need money and I've been making really silly desisions lately, so I thought it best to run this past you guys as you're collectivly 1001 times smarter than me!

Regards solouko.

Agree with Pondman

A= May take quite a while to sell
B=Ancillaries would sell but block probably wouldn't
C=Probably the most time consuming option, but the best financial return
D=Big financial outlay for possibly no return
E=Refer back to C=

Been there before myself, nobody wants to buy a kaput engine.

I've got a perfect running engine, it's only 6 years old from brand new & covered just 44K & in the current financial climate I'm struggling to shift it as a complete unit!.

I may well be forced to strip it, which would be criminal, but short of letting ot go for sheer pittence....

So I'd say strip it & sell the ancillaries definitely forget option 'D'

Here's another idea, if the concensus is to scrap the block...
Should I scrap the block, sell the sensors, sell the ancilliaries and have the head ported and polished, then fit it to my coupe?
