Took the car out for a blast today after around two months.It now lives in its new home in the warm.

Great feeling but started thinking about spa and other summer events.
7 weeks left for spa!

I still need fresh oil and filter.
Fit pagid greys and discs.
Install widget
Wash and polish the car.
Pre-track checklist.
Pretty minimal really but will hopefully fit in with one of our trusty specialists before the pre-spa rush..

What have you guys got to do?

Clean it probably. I think it's good to go... Can't wait for Spa

Im not ready,although i have been good and booked the hotels etc well in advance.
Cars not ready and im picking it up from Fleas tomorrow.

I will have around 40 coupes to do before Spa including a 500+bhp car for a customer that i havent started yet so i will start to become very quiet on here in the weeks leading upto it.

Thats good to hear JBT about the work but best bit is that you will be quiet for a bit, thats better

All the booze has been bottled. Just got to put some petrol in the Coupe now.

I've got this little list to tick off before Spa Reubs:

1 - Fit new sump
2 - Drain brake fluid and fill with Castrol SRF
3 - Replace my worn out XP-10's front pads with another new set of XP-10's
4 - Make new mounting plates for my 2 new front Sparco bucket seats
5 - Make new harness eye bolt mountings for passenger side
6 - Make new camera mounting (some kind of brace across rear seatbelt mountings with camera mount bolted to it?!)

A bit of a snagging list, but it's waited since xmas so will get it done for hopefully plenty more track days now the weather's improving

Finally got my new helmet, a fortnight after Anita's arrived, so I'm sorted.

Oh, apart from the MOT, cambelt, and service... Joe! And mebbe a couple of new tyres. Marco, tickets, hint hint?

Anybody needing Hi-viz vests or gloves then i have those in abundance - remember the essentials boys like warning triangle, GB sticker etc.....

As we're going much earlier this year does anyone think we'll be using headlights? I have some beam deflectors but gawd knows where they are

I'm taking my 888's and praying for dry weather. I was going get a set of T1R's but they're getting rare, so not sure yet my tyre bloke has got a set of Hankooks that I can have cheap but not sure what they're like.

I've got to do the following.,.

Fit bucket seat
Fit silicone hoses
Port manifold
Change wipers
Change brake discs
See flea for a map tweak
4 wheel alignment
Change radiator
Tart up the engine bay (for magooagain)
Change wheel bearing
Strip excess weight out of the car
Put battery in the boot
Fit push button starter

So thats about 3 days work!

Er wake up and go!

Track wheels aren't needed - you don't go fast enough.

Luggage = A couple of purple jumpers

Oil = Always easier to do when you stand and hold the bonnet up for me.

As for sharing the driving - I need to ring Neil Willies and ask if they'll cover me. I was covered previously,on my old insurance, but don't think I am now I'm with them

Just realised need to fit new b pillars,put center console back in and find all the screws etc..Looks like a day down at Joes asking of for center console screws etc...

Enough work on then Jbt...just make sure your banger is done in time.

For the car, not much, an oil and filter change which is due anyway and perhaps fit a new alternator.

I may make the effort to change the coolant and fit the set of silicone hoses that I have had for over a year now, but I wouldn't be surprisd if I don't do that.

Apart from that, there will be 50 plus tickets to get to people when I get them in about 4-5 weeks time.

3 weeks right now we will be docking in France no the journey to spa!!
