You always pay a premium for anything from Solo Italia, but you do purchase some extra peace of mind and comeback into the bargain.

Personally I'd buy something from the forum for around the £1500 - £2k mark and keep the leftover for when something breaks. There are several decent cars in the for sale forum at that sort of money. If you think any of the big jobs need doing negotiate on that basis, and then drive it to CC / JBT / Motormech.

2. Imagine it written here

I purchased mine from Solo and I paid top end but it's been well worth it in the long run. The amount of time and money I haven't spent and won't need to on bits because it was fully serviced (belts, fluids, brakes etc etc) and a receipt with the car for well in excess of £1,500 for replacement items. They know coupes and were 100% honest and up front about the condition of the car - It was a 300 mile round trip and after talking on teh phone and leaving a deposit without viewing I wasn't disappointed!

I would also buy it from someone on here in the for sale section (I have done so twice now) for up to £2K and you will have a 3/4 done coupe. Don't expect to buy a coupe and never have to spend on it because you will, no matter who you buy it from for whatever price you pay.
Solo Italia are good and reputable for sure but too expensive from a personal point of view.
