I've spoken to this guy last weekend as I was tempted. Chap seems very genuine and has owned since new.

The car is near Inverness so it's a long way for most of us to go and view. It's low mileage yes but apparently the belts need doing and it's going to need some welding underneath to pass it's next MOT.

Could be a good car but by the sounds of it will need a bit of TLC and some money spent to get it shipshape. Nice little project for someone perhaps?

I think the majority of coupes out there for sale need the same level of work...(with the exception of Forum owned coupes of course! laugh ) so this wouldn't put me off...it is a long way to go though !

Only about £60 flight from Luton on Easyjet, with £13 return as a contingency should the car be a dog - that's what i was going to do until i decided to buy Joe's yellow one - so not prohibitively expensive really

@Mayzon. I'm new to the forum, I bought Patch's red Plus, my second Coop. It's stunning, previous one was a 20VT I bought from 'cookie' through this forum, I've just sold it to 'plenty' (also new to Coops and the forum).

Yeah he told me, seven in total. He bought this one just before Xmas and completely refurbished/sealed the chasis. Bodywork is not as good as my previous one but hoping to fix that when the bank account allows. This handles as well as two VX220s I've had - like it's on rails. Quite amazed at whatever the previous owner and Patch have done with it.
