Ok this is the situation, Marco has missed Spa 2 years on the trot and I for one would like to see him attend this weekend in his own car, I have a Plus I can lend him and I know Nigel has offered his 16v but if I was in the same situation I know I'd rather take my own car just in case something happens

So fellow members of the forum this is a request for everyone to join in and get Marco to Spa, this is a call for Fiat Coupe passion and some helps with either purchasing parts, donation towards them or supplying some surplus.

The car is hopefully going to be delivered by recovery truck Sunday so I'm lined up to change the engine, for me that's 3 days free work from start to finish.

Other items needed:

A known 20vt engine (there is a small budget to purchase this).
Clutch kit.
New Aux and cam belt (new pulleys fitted last year along with the water pump and cam phase so these will be ok).
1 gallon of Millers 10/60 racing oil.
Oil filter.
2 Ltrs coolant.
Tea, coffee and a bag of sugar.
Cake

So come on people, we all dislike know Marco so lets get this guy back on the road to Spa.

As mentioned, Joe - if he needs my kit's ramp time, it's his. But sadly I need the 16v ramp time to stay legal.

errr... wow...

ive sorted a clutch Joe.. the coolant is new, i changed it the other night, ive also got 5L of oil ready to go in alongwith a new filter.

Ive also got a new cambelt on order, rocker cover gasket, manifold gasket.

the gearbox oil was changed a few months ago...

thje only thing i need is the engine.

Sugar, tea bags , cake's ect will be arriving with the car.

Well his entrance to Spa is sorted i know that, and although this and next month will be particularly hard for me financially i'm prepared to dig a bit deeper to help the tosser gwar lad.......

I've got a engine here but I don't know the history, like I said Marco you can have it but it'll need testing. I'm at work after tomorrow till next Friday so I haven't got the time to get it to Joes, so if you could come up with something it's there for you dude.

I'm more than happy to throw my hat in the ring on this one - I'm free next weekend and off work w/c 2nd April, I'm no stranger to the spanners plus can provide very nice homemade choc chip cookies! Failing that I can pick up/deliver parts in my Coop or can be a van-driver if needed. We also have a Toyota Hilux at work I could talk to the Boss about borrowing at the weekend for anything big/heavy.

Oh, and I found a £20 note in an old jacket last night plus 43p down the back of the sofa that I'm happy to donate to the cause
