Looking for a really good quality wheel refurb place for my Azevs. I've had them done before a couple of years ago and not long after they started flaking away badly, not impressed! Really wanted them done at Lepsons but its too far away and even with their hire car option its not a viable option, puts the price up too much as I can only get there from one monday to the next.
So any places that have a good reputation that will do a really good job? I'm willing to travel a good 30 mins from KT12.
Help....

Iain and Jon thanks for the offer on spare wheels, but that has reminded me I have my original set of plus wheels sitting in my parents garage, so maybe thats my way around this to go to Lepsons.
Begbie, thanks for that mate, but I want to use someone with a good reputation after my first shambolic wheel refurb.
Everyone else thanks for the ideas, but keep them coming please as the more ideas or recommendations the better, thanks.

I used BJV the price was very good and the finish was excellent, they have been on the car in all weathers for 3 years and only now starting to look marked, but i have not cleaned the car in over 8 months Turnaround was 3 days.

To add to this.
I have used BJV three time over the last few years with mixed results.
First time round they were good and quick but the finish did not last very long at all.
Second time round I rejected the wheels on three separate occasions as the finish was unbelievably bad. Eventually they did the job properly and to their credit it has lasted a few years but the finish has always been weak.
Third time round for some utility wheels I had them refurbished , just plane jane and they have worked out well.
Honestly unless it is just a very basic plain refurbishment. I would be inclined to look elsewhere than BJV.

I was very impressed with these chaps who probably just fall within your 30 mins radius if you put your foot down... They did a good job on my 16VT dustbin lids. Let me know if you would like pics. My Alloys, Basingstoke Easy to find, and although the website makes them look a bit like they're a family business run out of a garage, they've got a nice setup. Turned mine around in a week, but I didn't ask for any quicker since I could only go down there on a weekend.

definitely go for someone who acid strips, then powder coats, the finish is so much better and always worth the extra few quid it might cost.
Powder coat is much harder wearing & an excellent finish for alloys with smooth detail. For those with fine detailed alloys, paint is better it is thinner. I used Prisrene Alloys. I always been very happy with they're service. Courier pick up & return for about £65.
