B@stard!
Luckily I was parked up, and he slid down the hill and hit me (drivers rear quarter) small crease just above the 'slash'. I'll post pictures later. Well F'd off!!!

I know the worst part is I stood and watched it all happening as I kept shouting 'stop'!
Insurance are fixing, obviously it's a no blame situation as I was parked at the side of the road, engine off and locked up.
Still very annoying....

Oh goody, that'll counter act the "yipee, I'm just about to hit 30 so my insurance will go down" feeling I keep getting. At least it wasn't my fault and could never be my fault - just a shame it's on the side where the clear coat isn't starting to onion.
Well looks like it's a week in a Astra or similar....

Good luck getting it sorted. I was in a similar situation a few years ago. Unfortunately, even though you weren't in the car, it will almost certainly put your insurance up next year I've heard that, but when I had a no-fault claim I tried getting a quote without the claim and then with it (online application) and it made no difference....

Same here. Handbrake left off a Scooby which rolled into my Signum when parked up. Done through insurance, and a drop in price for me the following year.

It's sickening, the guy actually had the balls to say that "the crease goes with the slash at the back and it's neat and tidy so doesn't look too bad" and my fav quote "are you sure that's not part of the styling". You can tell he was a geriatric generic saloon driver....
Least it's going in the morning to the body shop - first class service so far from Insurance company.

As Mr E John once sang "Ohh the bitch is back". And she is! Looking good, smelling like paint, shiny and many less marks down the drivers side and having taken her out for a blat and turning Thunder down for a moment to listen to the wonderful coupe noise I realise that I need yet another rear bearing! Only ever buy genuine parts people, I've had 3 different ones in 2.5 years - all different makes non oem - and they have all failed. Usually once the tank is full and I've pressed along at a reasonable rate for a few miles. Good job it only takes 20 minutes to swap. It's all just a false economy!
