Just had a chip fixed on my windscreen today and had a good chat with Autoglass man who was very knowledgeable about coupes. My chip was quite big and near the screen edge (on drivers side) and he wasn't sure it would work without breaking screen. Anyway all went well and chip now gone...amazing!! One thing I did learn that when you sign the form at the end they ask you when the chip happened, if you answer 'more than a month ago' its not guaranteed and your insurance can bill you for it. Mine was there before I bought the car (some three months ago) so I answered honestly, but being a top bloke he said 'you mean last week!!' and put that on his form!...top service, nice man, very unexpected as my previous experience with Autoglass was shocking (damaged paintwork and internal trim replacing windscreen on gtv which they then denied!!)

I had a chip filled just over a year ago. It looks worse than before (massive white splodge) and I've now gone through 2 sets of wiper blades as the big jagged lump left behind keeps tearing them.

Everytime you hear the jingle "Autoglass repair, Autoglass replace" Turn to the missus and sing "Jism in your hair, Jism in your face" I do! She never sees the funny side laugh
