Update my earlier snagging list

1 - Fit new sump
2 - Drain brake fluid and fill with Castrol SRF
3 - Replace my worn out XP-10's front pads with another new set of XP-10's
4 - Drain and refill gearbox oil with Castrol TAF-X
5 - Make new mounting plates for my 2 new front Sparco bucket seats
6 - Make new harness eye bolt mountings for passenger side
7 - Make new camera mounting (some kind of brace across rear seatbelt mountings with camera mount bolted to it?!)

Oils and pads doing next week.

There's still plenty of time

Reuben doesn't need to worry about the aerodynamics as he'll probibly be going backwards again

im also waiting for Joes magic to come back

I've just got too replace the brake fluid and a oil change then I'm hopefully done.

Front end refitted.Just waiting for my new brake discs to turn up.

I have got 5 coupes to get ready + finish off the not yet publicized Spa project for a customer.
Then i can get on with the suspension,brakes,oil change,exhaust maf conversion and map then a clean.

Mmmmmmm not looking good as i dont get my suspension back for 2 weeks.

Down to the wires as usual john.

Next year will be different.I promise.

Things to take (to be legal, mostly):

- first aid kit, hi-vis jackets for all, inside the cabin
- breathalyser kit
- red triangle
- bulb kit
- EHIC card
- passport
- driving licence - both parts - and insurance documents
- recovery
- helmet(s) and gloves
- Joe or JBT's phone number...

What did I forget?

I didn't realise a breathalyser kit was a legal requirement? never took one before....

Everyone in the car, and the jackets have to be in the cabin not in the boot....

What on earth is the point of that?
Im sorry but if you have had a drink you should know not to drive. If you havent had a drink you can drive. Its pretty plain and simple. As if someone pissed off their head is going to get into the car and say let me to a breath test... oh no im over the limit i wont drive now.

Its probably so that the french police can save their money on breathalyser kits.

Almost ready now, new turbo and injector fitted a couple of weeks ago, booked back with Rog on Tuesday for a new steering pump bearing, coolent and brake fluid changes.

I'm not quite ready but not far off.

Had the brake fliud changed, CHOD replaced, suspension checked over and ended up forking out for a new battery too.

In the end I also decided to get better tyres and brakepads....so having the toyos and ds2500s fitted on Monday along with the tracking done.

This is turning out to be very expensive! And i haven't even gone anywhere yet! Should all be worth it though. Can't wait to give it some beans on the track.
