finally collected it yesterday after trying to sort transport out.In the end, i got on the coach at 6.15am for 4 hrs and costed £14,£17 with booking fee smile

Some pics:

click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge

Unsure if its British Racing Green or Scotts Green as i havnt coome across the colour code yet. Also if its ben on here in the past?
But i have loads of old history and some fairly recent history.
Got a folder full of receipts, inc cambelt, tensioners, pulleys, aux belt, water pump, pair of bottom arms, droplinks all fitted 18 month ago for £1077.It has a new turbo at a cost of £545 in 2010. A new clutch kit and cylinder was fitted 18 month ago too at a cost of £600 (inc labour).
Alot of old receipts from old previouys owners, all mot's from 2001 (but 3 missing).

I was on the look out for a d/v but it came with a Baileys dv26 and he gave me a boost gauge which requires fitting.
the b/g will fit where the centre clock is but im unsure if i want it there? It 'aparantly' has a gtec 1 chip but not seen a receipt for that, But have the standard chip in the centre console in a money bag..so maybe true? (or that the gtec 1?)
It has a k+n panel filter but he (or been previously) has drilled about 8/9 big holes in the side of the airbox, why? you can hear it flutter aswell as 'tissh' lol me personally would have left the airbox alone and fitted either an uprated panel filter or a cone,so am on look out for standard air box atm

Has a few little niggles to whih i have posted prior to buying,so i have updated that with a new post smile

Cheers
Mike

Welcome to coupé ownership Mike, hope you have many miles of trouble-free motoring with it - however to achieve this, check the oil regularly, by that i mean not less than once a week.....

Maybe consider joining the club, for just a mere £15 it helps fund the forum and club and gives you access to some great discounts cool

Oh, and it's scots Green which polishes up really well

Welcome Mike.

The holes in the airbox are to assist in some lower end torque gains. It also makes the engine note a little deeper when hitting the go pedal.

I always found that low end torque seemed worse and top end seemed better when I had my airbox with holes fitted. I actually got sick of the darth vader sucking so went back to normal.

Oh and keep an eye on your paintwork, our green ones seem to like shedding their top coat shocked cry

hi guys, cheers for the welcomes thumb

its not too bad bodywise, slight dent on pass door with a light scratch but im hoping that'll buff out.The front bumper is peeling and there is a slight dent on edge of bonnet.

Tbf the green is alright, think with a nice polish and wheels blackened it should come up nice smile

Oh and im gona look for a standard airbox lol

Mike

oh and thanks mods for sorting the pics out, wasnt sure how to do it.tried img tags, and then directlink and ended up with writing lol

Welcome Mike, looks a good coupe. I have do the airbox mod on mine and it does make a difference, for the better in my opinion.

I had the flutter when running on the plastic bosch dv but that was sorted when I up graded to a forge.
