need help with this.

I bought a canvas print on ebay which was described as very good condition however when it arrived it had numerous marks including obvious damage to the print surface with under colours showing through.

I complained to the seller who said he "didn't think it was that bad" but did offer to refund if I return.

The question is who pays for the return? The item is not as described so I don't see why I should be out of pocket but its unclear if i will get the return costs back as well as my original fee. Its a private seller not a trader.

have had this problem a few times, but not for ages now.
Some sellers have reinbursed me the cost of postage to return it,some havnt evil and thats where you lose out.
Once they receive it back, they just hit refund buyer and it all comes back.

id ask the seller to reinburs you the cost to send it back.
