to be fair, it used to be easy to find information etc.. about poweritalia when they had a section on the forum. But from what I hear, the mod's wanted money from roger to advertise his services on this site, which TBH with the limited amount of fiat coupe specialist garages around and with this being an owners forum... well.. sounds silly to me..

Is that why he never posts on here anymore?

There is a trader section which is £100 a year. Nothing to stop him posing still though.

The forum is run by volunteers and paid for by members, I don't see why traders should benefit from that generosity?

Rog is a respected specialist but I suppose the number of coupes left means the fee may no longer be worth it.

Unlike the other specialists who have renewed their subscriptions to their own areas of the forum, PowerItalia evidently felt that the very modest sum involved was not cost effective.

They may of course simply be moving their business in another direction.

I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
I even unplugged my own.

That is one opinion.

If you own an original Lampredi powered coupe you will disagree; they stopped working on them several years ago.

Indeed, each of us will have our own opinion about which specialist is 'best', and each will be individually informed in that decision by personal experience, reputation, rumour, hearsay, and of course a completely subjective interpretation of 'best'.

There's no real point discussing it, save perhaps to note that the best specialist for a first time is probably simply the nearest.
