As the title please. Not sure if I am having a bad day, but I can't seem to figure out how best to do this. I don't have the full version of Acrobat so would need some kind of work around and don't want to buy software that I wouldn't use.

Right click on file and then "send to zipped folder"?

It's going via email so unfortunately zipped is out.

Download pdfwriter. It will install a PDF printer on your system. You can then print the file to this printer, fettle with the settings (like resolution for images) and it will 'print' it to a new PDF file - hopefully much smaller.

This might give you an idea how to solve the problem: clicky idea

If it's a pdf you created yourself you might want to investigate the settings you used when saving this pdf document. Which program does the pdf originates from?

Do you have any stupidly high res pictures in your original document? These can prevent the PDF from compressing.

Otherwise I suppose you could try something like this: http://docupub.com/pdfcompress/

this works pretty well http://www.primopdf.com/

download the free version. then you go to print the original but select Primo as your printer. this saves the document to your PC (doesn't actually print it) and you have the same thing but a lot less kbs smile
