Just how strong is a Coupe gearbox then?

Mine feels notchy. I once changed gear hard when I first bought the car (before I treated her like a lady smile ), and the O ring popped off the linkage under the bonnet, I put it back on with a new split pin, but ive never changed gear hard since, for fear of it happening again.

Even when JBT did my clutch and cambelt, with new gearbox oil, it still felt a bit notchy, but it loosens up a bit once i let her warm up.

Sorry mines a P reg, so I presume early 5 speed?

Cadbury chocolate is the mark for which the coupe gearbox should be treated .

coupe gearbox is probably good for at least 350lb ft of torque so they are def not made of chocolate
