Anyone know what the 20VT should be in degrees, i.e. not mm?

Try this Rudi thumb

1. Multiply rim diameter in inches by 25.4 to get rim diameter in mm.

2. Multiply the result by PI to get the circumference.

3. Divide the result by 360 to get mm per degree.

4. Divide the toe mm by the mm/degree result to get toe in decimal degrees

*gulp* hehehe

Hiya Al, cheers for that - I was contemplating the mathematical approach but was waiting for the simple answer laugh I'll give that a bash

It also got me thinking, where the manual specifies mm, this is based on standard sized rims. So in theory, moving from 16" rims to 18s or larger could result in incorrect tracking - as the gauges normally rest on the front and rear lip of the alloy for reference....

How are things at your end?

Is this not true only if you set the tracking by measuring the distance between the wheels. Surely gauges measure the angle that the wheels are making against the centreline so making it independent of the wheel diameter?

my gauges measure angles but many settings refer to mm

I know a man of your caliber can work it out smile and, yes I'd say you're right about wheel size making a difference to the original mm setting as degrees aren't relative to the size of a circle, whatever size it is, it's still devided into 360 degrees whereas if you're measuring in mm, you can fit a lot more millimetres into a 1 metre circle than into a 30cm circle crazy

How are things our end? On a local scale they seem a bit crap at the momment, but put on a world scale, they're not too bad at all really hehe

How about you?
