Would a 16vt rearbox fit straight onto a 20v n/a?

Thanks

Cheers Rob, still unsure though as i thought i read on here a few months ago that 16vt and the 20V na systems from cat back were the same... or is that 20vt and 20v na??

Anyone got a decent rear box to fit a 20v na? Something with a small grumble but not too loud.

Yes. A Cybox, from Ebay. However, word of caution; when you first fit it you'll think it is too loud, or louder than you expected, don't be fooled. These stainless systems mellow as they carbon up inside and within a few hundred miles you'll notice the note changes.

The last thing I wanted was a "chavvy" sound coming from my coupé and people who have heard it since it mellowed have all commented on how impressive it sounds, it really does show off the 20v engine, makes the rumble sound like far more expensive, and more powerful, machinery, if you get my drift?

Highly recommended by me thumb

Oh, and the owner before me did fit a 16v exhaust, by cutting off the flange at the end of it and bodging the two pipes together. He couldn't understand why it rattled after it left the exhaust centre; that's because they'd left the severed flange just loose, sliding up and down the exhaust pipe! Cowboys! laugh
