Hope you gave the world some gravel and dust as you finally pulled away wink

I feel your pain. Took me 3 cuts to get out of a parking space in the local Morrisons,
only to be completely shown up by the gent in the enormous 3 axle campervan a few spaces down calmly gliding out in one clean cut,
steering wheel balanced against his single relaxed index finger...

Even worse when your 18s make a grating noise against the wheel arch liners making everyone look round to see you struggling box

Back into retirement, for now at least . . . Broomy will come out to play next year smile

It's less of a turning circle and more of an orbit...

The turning circle can be a pain, but I don't care what people may be thinking and they probably just assume I'm a bad driver due to being female anyway laugh

What matters is, that no matter how much I may be struggling or look stupid, my Coupe is still cooler than their car (usually) laugh

if you plan ahead these things can be avoided, having said that the amount of times the front securing eye has touched the pavement and made a noise only heard in hell to ensure EVERYONE turns round to watch a rather embarrassed driver...

Agreed, I assess my exit strategy before choosing a parking space! The 20vt has the turning circle of an oil tanker, but adds character in my opinion!

Combining the poor turning circle with squeeling brakes, vunerable unprotected door panels, and public car parks become a place of angst! evil

i found out how bad it is in KFC drive through, ended up about 4ft away from the window, and then ended up explaining to women just how bad the turning circle was, and that it was'nt just my bad driving (not sure if she believed me)

Tell me about it, it feels like it's reached esacpe velocity from the Sun's gravitational pull at times, nicely fast rack for the twisty bits, though. So, a slight compromise to give the excellent feel and speed of turn-in.
