Hi everyone!
Well I guess it’s just about the right time to let everyone know what’s going on with Kermit my coupe (AKA Roadhog Charity Drive 2012 crew car) More pics to see on website and FB pages cool

After attending and researching most events of a similar ilk in the UK and Ireland – myself and a business partner have created Roadhog.
Please join our FB group - Roadhog Facebook Group

Twitter join please - @CamillusRoadhog
www.roadhog.org.uk
Check out the "Team" section and you might see 2 people you recognise wink
Roadhog is an annual event- the TRUE European roadtrip

The UK’s ultimate European Charity Drive!Banger rally - or whatever you wish to call it!
Over 4 days you will travel roughly 3000 km in a car worth between £1 – £1,000.

A Magical Mystery Tour mixed with National Lampoons European Vacation and a pinch of Cannonball for good measure!
Europe’s Greatest Treasure Hunt – The legendary “HUNT THE HOG”

Launching from Brands Hatch. The home of Motor Sport
Katie will be with us - the "Face" of wonderbra and campaigner against size zero models

All to raise funds for terminally ill children in the UK and N Ireland via Dreams Come True our dedicated charity.

The event is in support of Dreams Come True DCTC.ORG.UK they support families in N Ireland and the mainland who have children with terminal illnesses.(Our aim is to raise a minimum £100k in the next 3 years)
We are in our inaugural year and have a fantastic proposition and great support. Please visit roadhog.org.uk and you will see more detail if required.
We will have support from a few mini celebs Katie Green as well as potentially Kerry Catona (These folk are DCT patrons and appear happy to help in some capacity)
We have secured a launch event Brands Hatch! And participants will travel through Europe’s greatest cities in a 4 day 3,000 km Dash - in fancy dress!
The event is a great story and the charity is fantastic, the business is built upon social alchemy as we have coined it...basically we take broken vehicles (All our crew cars have been donated by the UK's largest vehicle dismantlers - generally written off cars brought back to a fantastic standard and legal! - we then aim to work with associations who in turn work with socially and educationally deprived kids to rebuild and maintain the vehicles) so a broken vehicle - elements of broken society - give them a sense of achievement and involvement in something truly positive and then raise as much cash as pos for terminally ill kids.

Donation Spots...

It would be magic if you guys can join our pages – tweet us and recommend to friends who have ever considered such an event, even post on other forums you use -I would be extremely grateful. Even donate if you wish! And even better join in - mention fccuk and I will see what i can do wink

Finally if you or your friends have the ability to snap pics and produce decent video footage then please send them this...

All the best and any qs PM or here is fine.

PS: Mods would be great if you could sticky this cool

Hi guys,

for those interested - we have updated the website - hopefully it gives you an insight to the efforts that have gone into this especially working with bangers with little experience and never using a spray booth in our lives...
the eagle eyed will note my battered coupe pic is an LE - i didnt keep pics of mine after the smash..too painful...but it was arguably worse

Also updated the Crew section

Hi guys,

That time again...however we have managed to get Usain Bolt to sign a shirt for us too!
We thought the best way to utilise it was to ask anyone happy to donate £5 or more to our virgin ones account and enter the ref BOLT, on launch day at brands hatch a child from the charity will draw one name out and you will also have apiece of Olympic history!
VirginMoney
Be great if you guys could donate.

Thank you.

First of all a massive thanks to the club and the mods for your support including making the Roadhog posts sticky smile

A massive thank you to JBT too - but I will ellaborate on that one in a seperate post! Just happy and amazed to say JBT supported Kermit to his fullest extent TOPLAD. cool cool

We raised a massive £11,000 and still climbing - and it was all for terminally ill kids and there families during what can only imaginably be the worst period of their lives

We will carry on as my target is £100,000 over the next 3 years.

Here is a quick article which shows the coupe center stage of the event and the revellers having a blinding time (In a pedestrianised area of Prague! laugh )

Vive la Coupe
